Pediatric Oncologist • Pediatric oncology specialist with over 25 years of experience focused on treatment options for different pediatric oncology tumors and on targeted therapy. Active researcher with over 85 publications; interdisciplinary experience.
I was born in Budapest, Hungary. Upon graduating from Semmelweis University, I worked as a physician in training at the 2nd Department of Pediatrics of the Semmelweis University in Budapest, the leading academic center for pediatric hematology and oncology. I spent 4 years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Metabolic Research Unit of the University of California at San Francisco.
I am an associate professor of medicine at the Semmelweis University. Currently, I am the Deputy Head of the 2nd Department of Pediatrics at Semmelweis University, Head of the Hungarian Pediatric Cancer Registry and Secretary of the Hungarian Pediatric Oncology Network.
Apart from clinical research in the field of pediatric oncology, my main scientific interest is the targeted therapy in pediatric oncology. I have written more than 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
