I am focused on complex diagnostic cases in Internal Medicine and Cardiology using the most advanced medical approaches and practices. I use a patient-centered approach. I have broad experience in both in-patient and out-patient treatment of cardiovascular patients including those with advanced heart failure and arrhythmias. I am experienced in cardiac ultrasound with over 1000 studies.
I am an active researcher with over 80 scientific publications and over 100 public lectures and popular press publications. My scientific interests are heart failure (dyspnea), microbiome and cardiovascular diseases, translational medicine, and drug development. I am on the editorial board of a medical journal.
I am also active in drug development research, clinical trial design, pharmacoeconomic studies, statistical analysis of data, and presentation of results.
With respect to healthcare management, I had a direct contribution to the successful launch of a new network of out-patient clinics and leadership in in-patient private clinic management (Yusupov’s Hospital). I also developed and implemented an integrated system of medical care quality control.
