Dr. Saurborn is amazing! I had a concern on a chest x ray and asked for a second opinion. Many doctors would respond with 'You are fine/don't worry' and yet not take the time to really explain why they are interpreting the scan as they are. Dr. Saurborn not only specifically answered my question, but also pointed to specific areas on my lung x ray, explaining why the original report most likely read as it did and also explaining in detail his own interpretation. He also gave me the general 'lay out' of the lungs, providing me with a much better understanding. His expertise, combined with his calming bedside manner, is a true gift.

Dr Saurborn rendered the same diagnosis as my neurosurgeon except my neurosurgeon leans towards surgery because that's what surgeons do is surgery, it's their stock and trade.

Dr. Saurborn was dead on with his reading of my MRI and his advice seems solid. With what Dr. Saurborn has advised and combined with the Q&A of my neurosurgeon making a current decision about my treatment is a lot easier. In fact, I am going more with the advice of Dr. Saurborn not because it's what I wanted to hear but more because he 'made sense'.
