I am assistant professor and consultant neurologist at the Department of Neurology at the Medical University of Vienna. My main clinical interest and research focus is acute stroke treatment as well as primary and secondary prophylaxis of cerebrovascular disease. I have published more than 25 articles on this topic in international peer-reviewed journals. I am a leading member of the stroke team, co-director of the cerebrovascular outpatient clinic and co-director of the stroke-unit of the Department of Neurology.
