About me

I am a board-certified Cardiologist. I obtained my medical degree from the Medical University of Vienna, Austria in 2002. Thereafter, I spent 4 years at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA, where I obtained a Masters' Degree in Clinical Research. I was continuously funded through several grants and awards including an American Heart Association Fellowship. In 2007, I was awarded the Assistant Professorship at Mayo Clinic. I completed my clinical training at the New York University and at the University Hospitals of Zürich and Bern in Switzerland, where I worked as a consultant in Cardiology. After additional training in congenital heart disease with world renowned Prof. Jamil Tajik, former chair of Cardiology at the Mayo Clinic, I founded Kardio Glattal providing cardiological services in the Zürich area.

I am also a researcher with published peer reviewed articles, a reviewer for a number of medical journals and received several awards and grants.
